150 people were killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in the past 24 hours. Yesterday it was 118. The day before? 98 and the list goes on. Every day of this war there are dozens massacred, more wounded, entire families erased, and names turned into numbers. https://x.com/HowidyHamza/status/1940470509223006229

The Prime Minister of Qatar received the Tipperary Peace Prize in Ireland yesterday — for his remarkable contributions to peace, which includes: — Sending tens of millions monthly to Hamas. — Letting U.S.-sanctioned terror financiers roam free in Doha. — Running Al Jazeera, the go-to PR channel for jihadist propaganda. — Quietly channeling funds to armed Islamist groups in Syria, Libya, and Mali. — And helping destabilize half the Middle East for the past two decades.

It took the new Islamist regime in Syria almost 10 weeks to commit its first massacre against the Alawite minority. Nearly 1,500 were killed across coastal towns. Families executed in their homes. Children among the dead. At least 33 women and girls kidnapped, many still missing, some later sold or traded between groups linked to HTS.

There are “peace activists” whose entire activism seems like a personal war with Hamas. Hamas is a criminal organization—I’ve condemned them, exposed them more than most. But when your so-called peace work becomes an endless loop of “Hamas Hamas Hamas” while staying silent about the Israeli government’s atrocities in Gaza, the mass civilian death, the destruction, the use of starvation and siege as war tools—then you’re not after peace, you’re just doing PR for one side. And then on the flip side, we have a few loud Arab voices who went from shouting slogans at protests to suddenly discovering Zionism and thinking they’ve cracked the code to peace. In reality, they’re just self-hating caricatures, desperate to be validated by the other side. I was once targeted by one of those clearly unstable individuals—at the time, I didn’t even know such a toxic subculture existed. Peace doesn’t come from denial or performative guilt. It comes from the courage to confront all forms of oppression—including the ones you find politically inconvenient.
